Returns / Guarantee

We are confident you are going to love your furniture, but if in the unlikely event you don’t, you may return the merchandise, that is not a special order, within 30 days of the date received, for the full purchase price. You will be responsible for the “actual shipping cost” which is the amount we pay to ship the product to you and back to the shipper, The merchandise must be returned in it’s original packaging to protect it from damage.

If an item is made to customers finish and/or fabric specifications it is considered special ordered and we charge a 15% restocking fee in addition to “actual shipping cost” to you and back to the shipper. Many damages can be repaired by a qualified furniture repair company and do not need to be replaced. We reserve the right to replace the furniture or repair the furniture at our discretion. Of course, if we elect to repair a damage we will guarantee the repair.

Replacement cushions or cut yardage are not returnable. Also, the fabric mill / manufacturer does not warrantee fabric unless specified.

Damages

We at Kozy Kingdom take pride in our customer service. Yes, furniture can arrive damaged do to either shipping or an unseen problem at the factory. We try to minimize these problems by offering furniture with a proven track record. Rest assured if you do have a problem we will handle it in a timely manor.  Most damages can be repaired by a qualified furniture repair company and do not need to be replaced. We reserve the right to replace the damaged furniture or repair the furniture at our discretion. Of course, if we elect to repair a damage we will guarantee the repair. If your package has obvious exterior shipping damage note this on the freight bill before signing. Call us for help

It is the customers responsibility to inspect items being delivered  for damages or shortages and to make a notation of any issues on the shippers copy of the “bill of lading” delivery receipt. If the delivery receipt is signed without making a notation of shortages or damages, the responsibility for the freight shifts from the shipper to the customer. The shipping company will deny any responsibility for any damages or shortages if the delivery receipt is signed without making a notation of such damages or shortages.

When should you expect delivery
Generally, items that require cushions take about 4 to 8 weeks to be delivered. If time is especially important to you, let us know and we will direct you to our quick ship items. Case goods can usually be delivered in about 2 weeks. When your order is placed we take every precaution to eliminate any obvious problems. Most of the time this initial screening of possible problems is effective. If there is an apparent delay, with your order we will notify you. Occasionally, unforeseen problems occur do to a change of dependencies. If unforeseen problems arise, we will keep you informed. Your understanding is appreciated.

Payment
We require a 30% deposit at the time of order. The balance is due when the merchandise is delivered to the shipping company. For orders less than $200 full payment is due at time of order. If it becomes necessary for Kozy Kingdom Inc. to seek legal counsel for payment of  any unpaid balance due, we reserve the right to seek compensation for any legal fees associated with such legal action, in addition to the amount of  the unpaid  balance due.

Replacement Cushions
If you need replacement cushions just call. We’ll be happy to advise you of your best options. Be sure to measure your cushions carefully because replacement cushions are special ordered and are not returnable. If you need help in measuring go to Frank’s measuring tips

Sales Tax
New York state deliveries must add appropriate sales tax for their local tax jurisdiction. All deliveries outside N.Y. are subject to rules and regulations of their state government, the customer is solely responsible for paying any (sales tax due), directly to their state government.

Pricing
We make every effort to update our site. Occasionally, market conditions force us to adjust our prices. We reserve the right to adjust prices at the time of your order.

Shipping Methods

Curbside/ Drop Shipping

The “Curbside/Drop Shipments” are delivered via Motor Freight.  The items being delivered  are not unwrapped and carried into the house or business. It is the customer’s responsibility to have able bodied help to unload the merchandise and carry it into the house or business. The shipping company will notify you before delivery.

If a customer is unable to receive a curbside/drop ship delivery they must notify us at the time of order.

In Home Delivery

We also offer “In Home Delivery” to most locations. The “In home delivery” is not available to some remote locations. In home deliveries usually take from 2 to 4 weeks longer than drop shipments. When you order is delivered “In Home” the merchandise is brought into your home or business and setup.

Difficult Delivery Situations
Most deliveries will fall into the “normal delivery” category, however, there are situations where we may have to collect charges for difficult delivery requirements. These include: homeowner association restrictions, bridges or island locations or any other situation that may require sub-contractors or additional costs to make a delivery. Generally, if you don’t think your situation is unusually difficult  it probably is not. If you are aware of unusually difficult delivery requirements please advise us at the time of order to avoid any unexpected charges.

Rattan Furniture & Wicker Furniture; Rattan and wicker products are made from natural materials and are hand crafted. Any variations in the weave or finish are inherent characteristics and are considered part of it’s charm and beauty. It is by no means perfect. For example,  some of our round and oval coffee and end table are designed with inset glass tops and it is not uncommon for the glass not to fit exactly perfectly correct. The glass may overlap in places and there may be spaces in some spots. This is due to fact that this type of table is  handmade and subject to some irregularity, whereas, the  glass is mass produced and not subject to these types of irregularities.
